About Me:

My initial interest in landscape design was sparked while working on Nantucket Island as a young adult, under the tutelage of a Master Gardener. She introduced me to the exciting world of plants and planting design which has been a passion of mine ever since. My path led me to California where I learned the plant palette and designed gardens for clients in the La Jolla area then to Costa Rica to live in a tent and take up surfing, and finally back to NJ, when I subsequently decided to return to school for my degree in LA and later to become professionally licensed. My unconventional path has fostered a unique range of skills that purposefully weave my passions for design, horticulture, and ecology with hands on experience in the field and knowledge of the built environment.
